Need help coming up with the perfect gift for your amazing mom this year?  We’ve got some great ideas to help you show her how special she is, right here in the heart of OKC.

  • Gift certificate to The Grandison Inn (like us on Facebook to discover our special Mothers’ Day offer!)
  • Flowers from our friends at Floral & Hardy (ask for Shelly)
  • Massage from our friends at Repose Spa (ask for Jessica)
  • Pack a picnic, a kite and some bread crumbs (to feed the ducks) and head for the Will Rogers Park or the Myriad Botanical Gardens and the Crystal Bridge Conservatory
  • Oklahoma City Museum of Art membership (free admission on Mothers’ Day!) -- give it to her at lunch at the Museum Café followed by the museum film “To the Wonder” starring Ben Affleck filmed here in Oklahoma
  • Make time for her to enjoy a leisurely stroll through a historical neighborhood like Heritage Hills or Mesta Park, and cruise Church Row (Robinson Ave) or the most beautiful street in the city: Shartel Ave
  • Tickets to Celtic Woman, Hillsong United, Beyonce, Keith Urban, Women of Faith, Jerry Seinfeld, “Greater Tuna,” OKC Philharmonic, “The King and I”
  • Get a gift certificate to Vast -- the new restaurant perched high above OKC in the Devon Tower
  • Let mom pick her favorite lunch spot in Bricktown then treat her to a carriage or water taxi ride or a game of bowling at Red Pin
  • Pack a blanket, an ice chest and a lot of popcorn and make a trip to the Winchester Drive In Theater
  • All-access passes to the DeadCenter Film Festival
  • Take her shopping for new cowgirl boots in Stockyards City after lunch at Cattlemen’s
  • Go sailing on Lake Hefner
  • Lunch and shopping in the Paseo District, followed by a sweet trip to Cuppies & Joe
  • Get the family coordinated and find a gorgeous spot to take family pictures
  • Lunch in the Asian District
  • If she loves historical tours, take her to visit the Overholser Mansion, Harn Homestead, Governor’s Mansion, or State Capitol
  • Is she a sports fan?  Redhawks or Barons tickets, river sports rentals at the Oklahoma River Boathouse
  • Plant something beautiful and perennial together
  • Take mom on a musical date to the UCO Jazz Lab, the Rodeo Opry, or a local university or church music concert
